Editorial Policy
How we research, write, review and maintain everything we publish.
This page documents the standards behind GambleOrbit's content. It applies to every page on the site, in every language.
How content is researched and written
Content is produced by GambleOrbit's editorial desks and drafted with the assistance of AI tools. We work from primary sources — operator terms and conditions, licensing registers and regulator publications.
We do not test operators by using them. We do not open accounts, deposit funds, place bets or trial withdrawals, and nothing on this site should be read as a report of first-hand play. What we publish is desk research: what an operator publishes, what its licence record shows, and what its terms actually say.
How operators are assessed
We publish the same facts about every operator: the licence and regulator, with the licence number where one is published; which of the seven responsible-gambling tools it exposes; the wagering requirement and the rest of the bonus terms; banking methods, currencies and reach; and its operating history. Each one is given together with the source a reader can check it against — the regulator’s public register, the operator’s own responsible-gambling page, its bonus terms, its banking page.
We do not score operators and we do not rank them. There is no rating out of ten and no formula behind one: a single number would have to decide what matters, and that decision would be ours rather than yours. Our comparison pages put the facts side by side and name no winner. The method is set out in full here: How we compare.
Where we do not hold a fact, the entry says so instead of estimating it — a missing licence number is shown as missing, and a responsible-gambling tool is recorded as absent unless we find it. Withdrawal speed in practice, support responsiveness and how games behave in play are not published at all: those need an account and money on the table, and a claim we cannot evidence is worth less than no claim at all.
Editorial independence
Operators we can link you to appear first, then everything else alphabetically. We earn a commission when a reader signs up through one of those links (see our Affiliate Disclosure), so that ordering is commercial, and we say so on the listing itself. It is not a quality ranking. What we publish about an operator does not move with it: commercial terms never decide which facts appear, and an operator cannot pay to have a weakness left out.
Freshness and updates
Time-sensitive content — bonuses, odds, regulation — is reviewed regularly; evergreen content is reviewed periodically. An operator entry changes when its facts change: a licence gained, lost, or verified against the register; responsible-gambling tools added or removed; bonus terms revised. Each page carries an accurate “last updated” date and we never backdate or fake these.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly. If you spot a mistake, contact us via the Contact page and we will review and update the page, noting material corrections where appropriate.
