A 6:5 blackjack table is one that pays a natural blackjack at six to five rather than the traditional three to two. On a ten-unit bet that is twelve units back instead of fifteen. Everything else about the table can look untouched: the same number of decks, the same dealer rules, the same seat, the same chips. The reduced payout applies to the hand a player is dealt roughly once in every twenty-one hands. That is often enough for the cut to bite, and rare enough to be easy to overlook. Because no other rule is loosened in compensation, the difference is not redistributed anywhere.
