Second, in games with decisions, the published figure assumes the mathematically correct play in every situation, so weaker decisions return less than the headline suggests. Bet selection matters too, since side bets and proposition wagers on the same table typically return less than the main bet. Whatever the figure, it is a long-run average and never a guide to one session.
