Bet Builder

Sports betting

A Bet Builder is a single bet combining multiple markets from one match, such as goals, cards and corners, priced as one correlation-adjusted selection.

A Bet Builder is a single wager that combines several markets from the same match, such as goals, cards, shots and corners, into one selection priced as one set of odds. Instead of backing separate events across different fixtures, you stack multiple outcomes within one game, and every leg must land for the bet to win. Bookmakers brand this feature under names like Bet Builder, Same Game Parlay or Request A Bet, and it has become one of the most popular products in football and other team sports. Because the selections come from a single match, many of the legs are correlated: a team likely to win probably also has more shots and corners. Operators account for this correlation in the price, so a Bet Builder rarely pays as much as multiplying the individual odds would suggest, though bookmakers often add a small boost to stay competitive. Worked example: in one match you combine Home team to win (1.60), Over 2.5 goals (1.90) and both teams to receive a card (1.50). Treated as a naive accumulator that is 1.60 x 1.90 x 1.50 = 4.56. The bookmaker's Bet Builder engine reprices the correlation and offers 4.20 instead. A GBP 10 stake returns GBP 42.00, a GBP 32.00 profit, only if all three legs win; one miss and the whole bet loses. For players, the appeal is customisation and higher potential returns from a single game, but the compounded margin and all-or-nothing settlement make these bets high-variance. Compare with same-game parlay, accumulator, correlated-parlay and request-a-bet.
