Cards Betting

Cards betting, also called bookings betting, prices the number of yellow and red cards in a football match. Some markets count cards directly; others use booking points, weighting a yellow and a red differently, and then offer over/under lines and handicaps on the total. Worked example: with a yellow worth 10 points and a red worth 25, a match with four yellows and one red produces 65 booking points, so an over 55.5 line wins. Cards shown to substitutes, coaches or staff on the bench are usually excluded, and a second yellow leading to a red is often counted only once — but rules differ by operator, so check them. Most markets cover 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Referee appointment and fixture context shape prices, yet card counts stay highly variable and are not predictable from form alone.
