What is Game Delisting?

Game delisting is the permanent removal of a title from casino lobbies and, usually, from the studio's own catalogue. It is not the same as a game being unavailable in your country, which is a market restriction, or a game being down for an hour, which is an outage. A delisted game is gone. There are three ordinary reasons. The most common is an expired content licence: a slot built on a film, a band or a television format is licensed for a term, and when the term ends the studio must stop distributing it. The second is certification — a title that no longer meets a market's technical standards, or whose test-house certificate has lapsed, cannot legally be offered there. The third is commercial: studios retire old engines, and a game that no longer runs on current devices is withdrawn rather than rebuilt. For a player the practical consequence is that a game you remember may genuinely no longer exist anywhere, and any page still describing it is describing the past. It also explains a pattern worth recognising: the delisted titles are disproportionately the branded ones, because they are the ones with a clock on them. If a title matters to you, the studio's own catalogue is the check — a game absent from it is not merely missing from one casino.
