What is Game Weighting?

Game weighting is the percentage of each bet that counts toward a wagering requirement, set per game type. Slots almost always count 100%. Table games, live casino, video poker and lottery games typically count 5% to 10%, and sometimes 0%. The arithmetic is unforgiving. A €2,000 requirement met on slots needs €2,000 of bets; met on roulette at 5% it needs €40,000. Anyone planning to clear a bonus on blackjack because the house edge is lower has usually not read this clause. Watch for two things. Weighting tables sometimes contradict themselves between sections of the same terms document — 0% in one place, 5% in another — which is worth a support ticket before you deposit. And weighting is separate from exclusion: an excluded game does not count at all and may be unplayable while a bonus is active.
