Total Rounds

Total Rounds is an over/under esports bet on how many rounds a single map of a round-based shooter such as CS2 or Valorant will last, quoted against a line like 24.5 rounds — you bet whether the combined round count finishes over or under that number. It is the round-based equivalent of a totals market in traditional sports, applied to one map rather than the whole match. In CS2, a regulation map is a race to 13 round wins, so the total ranges from 13 (a 13-0 shutout) up to 24 in a 13-11 finish, or higher if overtime is reached. Valorant works the same way with a first-to-13 format. Bookmakers set the half-point line to remove any chance of a push: a 24.5 line means 24 rounds or fewer settles under, and 25 or more settles over. A lopsided matchup pushes the line lower (few rounds expected); two evenly matched teams push it higher. Worked example: you back Over 24.5 rounds at decimal odds of 1.90 (roughly 53% implied probability) with a 20 EUR stake. The map finishes 13-11, totalling 24 rounds — under the line, so the bet loses. Had it gone 13-13 into overtime, or ended 16-14, your Over would have won, returning 38 EUR (20 x 1.90) for a 18 EUR profit. Check the sportsbook's overtime rules before betting, since some markets settle on regulation rounds only and exclude overtime, which materially changes an Over selection near the line.
