What is VIP Level?

A VIP level is a tier in an operator's loyalty scheme, reached by wagering and carrying benefits such as higher cashback, faster withdrawals or a dedicated account manager. The economics are worth stating plainly: every benefit is funded by the losses of the players receiving it. A scheme that pays more back at higher tiers is paying a share of a larger expected loss, not making the games better. The house edge does not change with tier. The part to read carefully is how a level is retained. Schemes that require a monthly wagering volume to hold a tier create pressure to play in order to keep a benefit, which inverts the point of a reward. A tier you keep permanently once earned is a materially different offer from one you must re-earn every month.
