What is Book Slot?

A book slot is a family of games built on one mechanic: a single symbol acts as both scatter and wild, and when the free spins round begins, one symbol is drawn at random to expand. That expanding symbol fills its whole reel for the rest of the round and pays wherever it lands, rather than only on adjacent reels. The shape of the round follows from that.
