What is No-Limit Game?

A no-limit game is a poker betting structure in which a player may wager any amount up to their entire stack on any betting round, provided the bet is at least the size of the big blind. No-limit Texas Hold'em is the best-known example. The table-stakes rule applies: you can only risk the chips that were in front of you at the start of the hand, and you cannot add more mid-hand. Because a whole stack can go in at once, single decisions carry far more weight than in fixed-limit play, and swings in both directions are much larger. That volatility is the defining feature of the format rather than an advantage. The size of the wagers changes how quickly money moves, not the underlying probabilities of the cards.
