What is One Day Teen Patti?

One Day Teen Patti is a live studio format in which the dealer deals two three-card hands, usually labelled Player A and Player B, and everyone at the table bets on which hand will be the stronger. Nobody is dealt cards of their own. The name borrows from one-day cricket: the round is short and there is no decision to make once the bet is down. The structure is what separates it from a table Teen Patti game. There is no ante, no play bet and no folding, so the only choice is which side to back and how much. Both hands are dealt face up, so the result is visible as it happens rather than revealed at showdown, and an unlimited number of players can back the same hand in the same round. Alongside the main bet, tables carry bonus wagers that pay on the ranking of one or both hands regardless of which side wins, and the paytables for those differ between studios and are the part worth reading. As a rule the side bets carry a much larger house edge than the A-versus-B bet, which is the one to lean on if the maths matters to you.
