Speed Baccarat

Speed Baccarat is a faster live-dealer version of baccarat in which every round is completed in roughly 27 seconds because the dealer deals all cards face-up and skips the traditional "squeeze," the slow, theatrical reveal of the cards. The game keeps standard baccarat rules unchanged: you bet on Player, Banker, or Tie, the hand closest to nine wins, and third-card drawing rules are automatic. Only the pacing changes, with a betting window of around 12 seconds and no dramatic card-turning to stretch each hand. Because rounds finish so quickly, Speed Baccarat delivers roughly 70 to 80 hands per hour, against about 40 to 45 in a classic squeeze table. Payouts and probabilities are identical to the parent game: Banker pays even money minus 5% commission (0.95:1), Player pays 1:1, and Tie typically pays 8:1. The Banker bet carries a house edge of about 1.06%, Player about 1.24%, and Tie about 14.4%. Worked example: you flat-bet 10 on Banker for one hour at 75 hands, staking 750 in total. At a 1.06% house edge, your mathematically expected loss is about 7.95 (750 x 0.0106). The same session at a slower 45-hand table would cycle only 450 through, for an expected loss near 4.77, so speed roughly doubles your exposure per hour. For players and affiliates, this is the key point: faster rounds do not change the odds, but they compress more decisions and more turnover into the same time, which raises both hourly variance and expected loss.
