What is Dealer Error?

A dealer error is a mistake made by the human running a live table: a card dealt out of turn, a misdeal, a ball spun before betting closed, a result announced wrongly. It is a different thing from an interrupted round, which is a technical stop rather than a human one, and the two are usually resolved under different clauses. Every live studio publishes game rules covering it, and the near-universal remedy is the same: the affected round is declared void and stakes are returned, rather than the result being paid as it fell. That can feel unfair to a player whose voided hand was winning, and it is the only rule that works — paying out an error would make the table's outcome depend on which mistakes happened to favour whom. Most errors never reach the player. Optical camera recognition reads the cards and the wheel independently of the presenter, pit supervision watches the floor, and a discrepancy between what the software read and what the dealer announced is usually caught inside the same round. If you believe an error was mishandled, the useful step is not arguing with the presenter in chat, who cannot rule on it. Note the round identifier from the game history, which every live round carries, and raise it with the operator in writing. If their answer is unsatisfactory, that identifier is what an alternative dispute resolution body will ask for first, and a complaint without it is very hard to progress.
