What is Double Ball Roulette?

Double Ball Roulette is a live roulette variant in which two balls are released into the same wheel on a single spin, so every round produces two winning numbers instead of one. The layout, the wheel and the bet types are the ones already familiar from European roulette. What changes is how a bet is settled, because there are now two results to compare it against. Inside bets are generally treated as won if either ball satisfies them. A straight-up number wins when at least one ball lands there, which is roughly twice as many chances as an ordinary spin, so the paytable compensates by paying that bet at a lower price than the usual straight-up rate. Outside bets work the other way. Red, even, a dozen or a column typically require both balls to satisfy the bet, which happens far less often, and the price is raised to match. The point to take from this is that the second ball changes the shape of the bet rather than acting as a bonus. Inside bets become more frequent and smaller, outside bets rarer and larger, and the house takes its cut through the adjusted paytable, not through the extra ball. Check whether your table's outside bets need both balls or only one.
