Overwatch betting is wagering on professional Overwatch matches — the team-based hero shooter played competitively in the Overwatch League and third-party circuits — across markets such as map winner, series handicap, total maps and the outright tournament winner. Because Overwatch matches are decided in a best-of series across distinct game modes (Control, Escort, Hybrid, Push), individual map results and series scorelines are the core betting units rather than a single final score. The most common market is the series moneyline: a straight pick of which team wins the best-of-five or best-of-seven. Beyond that, map handicaps (e.g. -1.5 maps) let you back a favourite to win by a clear margin, while total maps over/under markets price whether a series goes the distance. First-map winner, correct map score and outright tournament winner futures round out a typical Overwatch card. Worked example: in a best-of-five, Team A is priced at 1.55 (implied 64.5%) and Team B at 2.45 (implied 40.8%) on the moneyline. A 20 EUR stake on Team A returns 31 EUR (11 EUR profit) if they win the series. If you instead take Team A -1.5 maps at 2.10, they must win by two clear maps (e.g. 3-1 or 3-0) for the bet to land, turning 20 EUR into 42 EUR. Why it matters: Overwatch metas and roster patches shift map-pool strength quickly, so line value often hinges on which composition each team runs. Check recent map-by-map form and patch notes before staking, and confirm the bookmaker settles on official series results.
