What is Network Selection?

Network selection is choosing which blockchain a crypto deposit or withdrawal travels over. Many tokens exist on more than one chain, and the same nominal coin sent over a different network is a different asset as far as the receiving wallet is concerned. Sending on a network the destination does not support is the single most common way crypto deposits are lost, and recovery is often impossible. The rule is that the network shown on the casino's deposit page and the network selected in your wallet must match exactly — not the coin name, the network. Address formats sometimes look identical across chains, so the address alone will not warn you. Some chains additionally require a destination tag or memo, and omitting it can leave the deposit unallocated even when the network was right. Fees and speed differ by network too, which is why operators often list several. A cheaper network is worth choosing only if the operator supports it. Send a small test amount first when using a new pairing, and confirm the deposit has credited before sending the rest.
