RNG certification is the formal sign-off that a game's random number generator has been examined by an accredited laboratory and behaves as described. The review normally covers the statistical quality of the output — whether results are uniformly distributed and show no detectable pattern — the unpredictability of the seed and internal state, and the way the generator is mapped onto reels, cards or wheel positions. Certificates apply to a named software build and are usually paired with a return-to-player verification report. For players, certification is a baseline assurance that the outcome of each round is not being manipulated round by round. It says nothing about whether a game is generous: a certified generator can still sit behind a high house edge, and past results never influence the next spin.
